Supporting Our Efforts

Make a Difference

We understand that not everyone can open their homes to adopt a cat, but everyone can help in some way. Please consider donating cat food or funds for spay and neutering (over 150 feral cats trapped and released in Broward County so far). Even the smallest donation can make a significant difference. Your generosity helps us with our efforts to make the lives of feral and rescue cats better.

How your generosity helps Happy Go Lucky FCRS

Your donations allow us to support the health and happiness of our colony, as well as our rescued and fostered cats.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

TNR is proven to be an effective method of combating the outside cat population. Not only does it work, it also makes for happier, healthier outdoor cats and humans!

Did you know?

A tipped ear tells you that the cat has been trapped, altered, and vaccinated for rabies.

Medical

Our volunteers monitor the colony’s health, as well as those we have rescued and foster. Cats who present injured or sick require medical care and, while we work with a network of vets, this care does cost out-of-pocket funds.

Food

We feed over 100 cats every day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. We go through over 8,000 pounds of dry food and 18,000 cans of wet food a year. Check out our wish list at Chewy.com!

Did you know?

Feral colonies are dependent on this food. If we were to suddenly stop feeding them, they—being extremely loyal to familiar territory—would continue to come and wait even if it means starving.

How you can help!

We accept donations to help offset the cost of caring for the colony, as well as the cats we’ve rescued and foster. Donations may be made through via Zelle and PayPal. And if you have extra cat food, or goods we can use for fundraising events, please contact us to make arrangements! We are located in Plantation, Florida.
